Tanjore painting is more than just decoration, it is a sadhana, a meditation in colour and gold. When you commission a painting, you are getting a piece that follows the traditional techniques passed down through my family. We do not use mass-produced prints; we build every relief from the ground up.

The Making of Your Masterpiece

• The Base: We start with high-quality, durable wooden boards that provide a sturdy foundation for the heavy gold and stone work.
• The Embossing (Muck Work): We use a traditional mixture to create the signature 3D relief work. This provides the elevation for the gold foil to sit on, catching light beautifully in your pooja room.
• The Gold Work: Authentic 24-karat gold foil is applied by hand. It is not just about the shine; it is about the purity that gold represents in this art form.
• Gemstone Embellishment: We use real Jaipur Kundan and Swarovski crystals, carefully placed to highlight jewellery and divine ornaments.
