A Calm & Confident Pup at Home

A well-behaved dog isn't about strict rules, it's about creating a predictable, calm environment. I help you teach your puppy how to settle, rest, and handle the daily buzz of your home without the constant chaos.

Teaching a dog to rest is one of the most important skills. A well-rested dog is less prone to problem behaviors. Here, Mishti chooses to relax instead of reacting to the vacuum.

Rest is not optional, it's essential. It took 5 weeks for Bubbles to learn how to settle, and now he is a much calmer dog. I teach you how to create a routine that encourages rest.

This is a well-socialized dog. Instead of being anxious or reactive to strangers and loud noises in her home, Mishti knows to settle with a toy. This is the power of training.

A trained dog knows how to behave anywhere. Even in a new place with new people, sounds, and smells, Mishti defaults to her good habits and minds her own business.

This is my demo dog Mishti showing what's possible. Maintaining a calm 'stay' amidst this level of distraction is an advanced skill built on a strong foundation of trust and consistent practice.

Our pre-walk routine. Establishing calm rituals like this prevents manic excitement and door-dashing. It teaches the puppy that patience is what gets them what they want.

Through consistent association, the sound of the leash clip has become a cue for Mishti to sit at any doorway. This is a simple but powerful example of how dogs learn.

About this collection

It isn't about teaching your dog to be a robot; it's about helping them handle the stimulation of an apartment. When I work with families in Bangalore, we focus on 'settle' and 'go to bed' commands so your puppy learns that a busy household—builders, guests, elevators—doesn't mean they need to be on high alert. You get a break, and your dog gets the rest they actually crave.

Building a Settled Home

Apartment life in a busy city like Bangalore is loud. Common sounds—vacuum cleaners, construction, elevator dings—are huge distractions for a puppy. If your dog is constantly pacing, barking at the door, or struggling to switch off, they likely haven't learned how to 'do nothing' yet.

Why Rest is a Skill

Many pet parents don't realize that a cranky, nipping puppy is often just an overtired one. Dogs need between 16 and 20 hours of sleep, but they rarely get it if they haven't been taught how. I help you set up specific routines and use tools like crates or designated mats to signal that it is time to switch off.

Practical Household Manners

We focus on the real-world skills you need daily:

  • Doorway Boundaries: Teaching your puppy to wait instead of bolting out the door when you arrive home.
  • Elevator Etiquette: Helping your dog stay calm in confined, busy spaces so you aren't dragged into the lobby.
  • Handling Distractions: Training your dog to ignore the sounds of guests or the house help so you can actually get things done.

The Force-Free Approach

This is a team effort. By ignoring the unwanted drama and rewarding the calm choices, we build a communication channel that works in every room of your house. Whether it is in-home coaching in Bangalore or a virtual setup, the goal is a dog that feels secure enough to relax, even when you aren't paying attention to them.
