Witness the transformation that patience and positive reinforcement can bring. From energetic Labradors to clever Indies, here are some of the wonderful puppies I have had the joy of coaching.

Meet lovable Lucy. Her family's dedication was key to her success. She learned to stay alone from just 3 months old, a huge achievement that shows the power of starting early with a consistent routine.

This is blissful Binngo, a joyful Lab who is a delight to train. We worked on channeling his energy positively, and he learned to be calm and gentle, especially around the children in his home.

Binngo's happy face says it all. A key part of his training was teaching him what he *can* chew, so he learned to ignore household items and only play with his own toys.

After a good session of play and mental stimulation, a puppy learns how to settle down. Here's Binngo, relaxed and content after practicing his fetch and drop commands.

Play is a powerful training tool. With Binngo, we used games like fetch to reinforce commands like 'come' and 'drop', making learning fun and building his focus on his handler.

Even high-energy puppies like Binngo can learn impulse control. Simple exercises like waiting for a treat help build patience and focus, which are essential life skills.

Leash training is a process of clear communication. Here, we are working with Binngo on his first walks, teaching him not to pull by using gentle guidance and rewarding him for walking calmly.

This is lively Leia, a German Shepherd I started training at 3 months old. Her family's experience with the breed and their commitment to a daily routine made all the difference in her puppyhood.

A well-exercised and mentally stimulated puppy is a calm puppy. Leia is blessed with lots of space to play, and we channeled her breed's intelligence into learning commands and games.

This is a foundational leash skill. I'm teaching Leia that a gentle tug on the leash means 'sit and wait'. This is invaluable for safety when crossing roads or when people approach.

About Happy Pups, Happy Families

It is not just about teaching 'sit' or 'stay'. The secret to a happy puppy is a happy human who knows how to communicate. In these sessions, I coach you to be consistent so your pup learns to trust your guidance rather than fear your reaction.
