Summer Music Camp: Locations, Dates & Timings
Everything you need to know about our summer workshops for kids. Whether you are in Indiranagar, Vasanth Nagar, or Yelahanka, we have a spot ready for some serious jamming.
Come Macha! Our music camps start on April 15th. We've got three convenient locations across Bangalore: Alliance Française in Vasanth Nagar, Atta Galatta in Indiranagar, and the Padukone Dravid Centre in Yelahanka.
Wondering what we cover? Our camp content includes everything from song learning and instrument initiation to music appreciation, basic music theory, and a final group recital. It's a complete package.
We've got flexible timings to fit your summer schedule. Choose between our morning batch from 10:30 to 11:30 am or the afternoon batch from 3 to 4 pm.
Our venues are bisi bisi (hot hot)! Whether you're in Indiranagar, Vasanth Nagar, or Yelahanka, there's a Taaqademy summer camp location near you. Just pick one and come for some sakkath majja (super fun).
We've got all the gear. Kids can learn guitar, keyboard, drums, or vocals, and the best part is that all instruments are provided by us. No need to buy or bring anything.
About Camp Details: Locations, Dates & Timings
Stop hunting for instruments or worrying about transport for gear. We provide everything at our acoustically treated studios. Whether you pick the morning or afternoon batch, your child gets a full hour of focused, high-energy band training without the boring theory.
The Camp Structure
We keep it simple. It is a 4-week program running Tuesday through Friday, giving kids 16 high-intensity sessions. We limit batches to 8-12 students so every child gets proper mentor attention. No need to bring a guitar or keyboard from home; we keep all the gear ready at the studio.
What Happens During the Camp
We start with instrument 'speed-dating.' Kids rotate through drums, keys, guitar, and vocals to find what clicks for them. Once they pick their focus, they join a band. It is not about exams or grade books. It is about learning to listen, finding the rhythm, and jamming with a group. We end the 4 weeks with a supervised group recital where they show off the songs they learned.
Locations and Timing
We operate out of three main venues in the city:
- Indiranagar: Atta Galatta
- Vasanth Nagar: Alliance Francaise
- Yelahanka: Padukone-Dravid Centre
Classes run in 60-minute slots:
- Morning: 10:30 am to 11:30 am
- Afternoon: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Have a child aged 6 or older? Bring them over. No prior experience is needed, just a bit of enthusiasm. Kindly adjust maadi and pick the center closest to you.
Taaqademy
We are a wild bunch of musicians who prefer jamming to boring theory. From Bruce Lee Mani to our rock-metal mentors, we teach kids to shred, not just read notes.
