About Our Vibe & Journey
We do not believe in stiff classrooms or rigid pressure. Whether you are looking for a hobby to destress after work or a dedicated path for your child, our approach focuses on stage confidence and genuine enjoyment. If you are worried about equipment, our rental service lets you start playing today without needing to buy an instrument upfront.
Kunal Basu started this with a guitar and a belief that music should be about passion, not just technical proficiency. Since 1999, we have grown into a community of over 75 mentors guiding 22,000 students. We believe that whether you are a toddler or an adult, music is a stress-buster that should be accessible and enjoyable.
Our journey is built on real stage experience. We host Swirl Spotlight events at venues like the Museum of Solutions and Art Mumbai, giving students a platform to perform because we know that confidence is just as important as the skill itself. We teach guitar, piano, drums, tabla, violin, ukulele, keyboard, and vocals, with flexible options for online or offline learning across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area.
We know that starting out can feel overwhelming, which is why we handle the logistics for you. From instrument rentals to tailored programs like Swirl ACE for exams, Swirl APPLAUSE for stage performance, and Swirl AFICIONADO for hobbyists, we provide the support you need. We keep our group classes small to ensure you get attention while still feeling the energy of learning alongside friends.

I am Kunal, and I started this journey with just a guitar and a simple belief that music should be fun, not a chore. Today, I am proud to lead a team of mentors who share that same passion for helping every student, from toddlers to adults, find their own rhythm and shine on stage.
