Cricket Fitness and Match Preparation Training
Cricket is about more than just big shots. Our training combines rigorous fitness drills, ground preparation, and live match scenarios to build the stamina and discipline every player needs.
A glimpse into our fitness routine. The video starts with the boys running and doing drills, which is essential for building stamina for long matches.
Before the practice, comes the preparation. Here the boys are helping set up the new nets and preparing the ground for the upcoming sessions. Teamwork starts here.
A lot of effort goes into maintaining our ground. The boys are watering the pitch and the field to get it ready for practice. I believe in teaching them the value of hard work.
About Fitness & Match Preparation
Monday is strictly for fitness, not just for knocking balls in the nets. Before you ever face a fast bowler, you need the stamina to hold your ground, which is why we start every week with running, agility ladders, and endurance drills. It is the sweat you put in on the field that determines how you perform when the match pressure is actually on.
Building the Cricketer's Engine
At Supreme Cricket Academy, we believe fitness is the real foundation of the game. Most students come looking for batting tips, but we make sure they understand that talent without endurance won't last a full innings.
Our weekly cycle is designed to mimic real-world match demands:
- Monday Fitness: This is non-negotiable. Whether it is cardio at Bhau Pradhan Ground or agility drills, we ensure every player builds the core strength required for competitive play.
- Tuesday to Friday Nets: This is where the skill work happens. We focus on shot selection, bowling actions, and fielding reflexes. We move beyond just throwing balls; we set up specific scenarios to improve your game awareness.
The 'Ground' Reality
We don't just coach cricket; we teach players to respect the ground they play on. You will often find our boys watering the pitch or setting up the nets. This isn't just cleaning duty, it is discipline. When you prepare your own pitch, you understand surface behavior and ball bounce better than anyone else.
Coaching for All Levels
From U-12 to U-19, our batches are structured to ensure every kid gets the attention they need. Whether you are joining our summer camps or the regular monthly training, the focus remains the same: hard work, team spirit, and learning from every match we play.
Cricket teaches you life lessons. Sometimes we win, sometimes we learn, but the goal is always to become a better human being while you are at it. Come down to Chembur, see our routine, and join the family.
