About Chrome, Cat Eye & Glitter
Getting that perfect cat-eye magnetic line or a smooth chrome mirror finish is all about the right base and patient application. I don’t rush these sets because the magnet needs time to react, and the chrome powder needs a solid, non-wipe top coat to actually last without peeling. When you book, just mention if you want a subtle shimmer or high-voltage bling so I keep the right powders and magnets ready.
Whether you are after the velvet-like depth of cat-eye polish or that high-shine, liquid-metal look of chrome, these styles are my absolute favourite to create. They change how light hits your hands, which is why they are so popular for evening parties and festive occasions.
The Cat Eye Difference
Cat eye isn't just about painting; it's about manipulation. I use a magnetic wand to pull the metallic particles in the gel into that signature shifting line. If you want it deep and dramatic like a dark red, or soft and dreamy like a pearl white, we can adjust the magnet angle to get the exact glow you want.
Chrome & Glitter Mastery
Chrome powder gives you that futuristic mirror finish, but it’s fragile if not sealed properly. I use a specific non-wipe top coat to ensure that shine doesn't dull after a few days. If you're going for glitter, we can do full coverage or just accents, but I always make sure the encapsulation is smooth so you don't have that scratchy, rough feeling on your fingertips.
