About Behind the Decks
What you see behind the console is exactly what you get on the dance floor. I use industry-standard Pioneer CDJ setups and mix custom video content live for that VDJ impact. My goal is to sync the rhythm with the visuals so the energy doesn't drop for a second.
My Technical Setup
I treat every event as a live performance. My kit usually involves a Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000 setup paired with a DJM 900 mixer. When I’m doing VDJ sets, I’m running specialized software to ensure the visuals on your LED wall aren't just loops—they are beats and transitions mapped to the music.
Why I Love VDJing
There is a different kind of connection when people can see the music. For Sangeet nights or receptions, I mix classic 90s Bollywood hits with their original music videos. It triggers nostalgia instantly. Whether it’s a packed Mumbai ballroom or an open-air destination wedding in Jaipur, I adapt my setup to fit the venue.
The 'Baraat on Wheels' Experience
This is where things get raw. When I take the party to the streets, I use a modified sound truck with high-wattage tops and subs tuned for outdoor clarity. I am there on the vehicle, mic in hand, hyping the crowd and managing the mix live. It’s not just playing music; it’s about directing the energy of the procession from start to finish.
