About Daytime Celebrations: Haldi, Sundowners & More
Daytime events are about balance—not just volume, but the right tempo for guests to mingle while still feeling the party. Unlike my night-time VDJ sets, these are audio-only performances where I use a streamlined controller setup, allowing me to be more mobile and interactive with the crowd for games or spontaneous announcements.
When you are planning a Haldi or a pool party, you do not want the same heavy, high-tempo playlist you would play at a 2:00 AM reception. These moments are about warmth, sunshine, and conversation.
My Approach to Daytime Vibes
For daytime events, I focus on 'Daytime Grooves.' This means mixing tropical house, lighter commercial hits, and festive Bollywood numbers that fit the carnival-style backdrop. The goal is to keep the energy light so people can enjoy the drinks, the games, and the weather without having to shout over the music.
Why Audio-Only?
For Sangeet or Reception nights, I bring the VDJ setup with LED visuals. However, for daytime Haldi or Brunch events, I prefer a professional DJ controller setup. It is less intrusive, quicker to set up, and it lets me focus on the mic work—whether I am hosting a game, announcing a groom's entry, or just keeping the flow moving between speeches. I dress for the theme, too, so whether it is a pool party or a floral-themed Haldi, I fit right into the aesthetic.
Travel & Logistics
While I am based in Kharghar, Mumbai, I travel across India for destination weddings. I have performed at venues in Alibaug, Karjat, and Jaipur. I work directly with your planner or the venue team to make sure the sound setup fits the outdoor environment, ensuring the music hits the right spot even in open-air venues.
