About Always in Bloom: Floral Mehendi
I create all my floral designs using my own, homemade organic henna paste. It is perfect for sensitive skin and ensures you get a rich, dark maroon stain that highlights the fine details of every petal and vine without any harsh chemicals.
Flowers are timeless. Whether you are looking for bold, shaded roses or delicate, leafy vines that wrap around your fingers, I love how floral motifs bring a natural elegance to your hands. My approach to floral mehendi blends traditional Indian patterns with modern, clean lines. I often use shading techniques to give the roses and lotuses a 3D effect, making them pop against the skin.
If you have a specific flower in mind, a lotus for a traditional touch or simple roses for a casual party, we can definitely work on that. I treat every design as a piece of art, often sketching out new patterns on paper to see how the flow works before I ever pick up a cone.
Since I use 100% organic henna that I mix myself, these designs are not just beautiful to look at; they are safe for everyone. The key to that deep mahogany color you see in my photos is the aftercare. Once the mehendi is dry, I always recommend simple tricks like clove steam to help darken the stain.
