About Traditional Newborn Shoots
Choosing a traditional theme for your newborn is about more than just a photo. We handle the delicate wrapping and traditional styling ourselves, ensuring your baby stays calm and safe while we capture that peaceful look. We provide all the props, jewelry, and traditional outfits in our Girgaon studio, so you only need to focus on your little one.
Our 'Chotishi Rakhumai' (Little Rakhumai) theme has become a favorite for families looking to honor their heritage. We design these sessions to be gentle and slow-paced. Because we shoot newborns when they are between 5 and 15 days old, we keep the studio atmosphere warm, quiet, and very relaxed.
We are a brother-sister duo, and we work as a team during these sessions. One of us focuses on capturing the angle and the light, while the other ensures the baby is swaddled correctly, comfortable, and safe. We never rush. If the baby needs a feed or a cuddle, we pause.
Our studio in Girgaon is stocked with a collection of traditional jewelry, Paithani-style fabrics, and authentic props that fit these specific themes. Whether you want the 'Rakhumai' look, a 'Shiv' theme, or a classic cultural portrait, we handle the setup from start to finish. You do not need to bring anything except your baby.
If you are planning a traditional newborn photoshoot in Mumbai, try to reach out before your due date so we can coordinate the timing with your baby’s arrival. We love mixing these cultural concepts with our signature light and airy style, giving you a portrait that feels both classic and fresh.
