Honoring your heritage through your baby's first portraits. From classic Krishna setups to using your own wedding saree as a wrap, I design meaningful, culturally grounded sessions that put your baby's comfort and safety first.

This behind the scenes video shows the creation of a Shiva-themed newborn shoot, from painting hands to the final blessed portrait with a damaru drum prop.

About Cultural & Traditional Portraits

We start every cultural session by checking the fabric and texture of the heirlooms you bring, like your wedding saree or traditional jewelry. I prioritize your baby's delicate skin over the aesthetic of the shot, ensuring that even elaborate setups using props or wraps are comfortable, sanitized, and perfectly positioned for safety before the shutter clicks.

Cultural newborn photography requires more than just props; it requires a deep understanding of posing safety and material handling. My studio in Kopar Khairane is equipped to handle traditional setups, like Krishna or Shiva themes, without ever forcing a pose.

When you choose to incorporate a family heirloom, such as your wedding saree, we treat it with the same care as a professional newborn wrap. I guide you through the process of selecting which items work best for the 8-21 day age window, ensuring the fabric is soft enough for a swaddle and that any accessories are lightweight and secure.

I do not believe in rushing or cutting corners for the sake of a trend. A cultural portrait should be timeless. Whether we are doing a Maharashtrian look with a classic bindi or a mythological composite, the focus remains on the baby's safety. Every session is conducted in a temperature-controlled environment with a spotter present. If you are looking for cheap, quick photos, you are in the wrong place. If you are looking for a dedicated artist who respects your traditions and protects your baby, let's talk.
