Makeup is pure art, and this is where I push the limits. From conceptual fashion shoots to thematic storytelling, these looks are designed to make an impact.

More from my Mughal-E-Azam inspired shoot. This look is a tribute to Anarkali, featuring bridal smokey eyes and historically inspired styling.

When devotion becomes beauty, it reflects as divinity. This is my interpretation of a modern Bengali bride, inspired by the feminine energy of Ma Kali.

Tribal soul awakened. A before-and-after transformation showing the creation of a colorful, tribal-inspired makeup look.

A closer, more artistic view of the tribal soul look, playing with flowers and dramatic angles to highlight the creative makeup.

A Navratri special look featuring a purple halo eye and traditional jewelry. This is a perfect example of festive, creative makeup.

Another view of my Navratri special look, showcasing the bold purple halo eye makeup and intricate styling.

Dripping in vintage magic. This look is inspired by classic old-world glamour, featuring a smudged wing liner and a pearl choker.

She is divine. A beautifully shot video of my South Indian bride look, capturing the elegance and grace of the final result.

In every glow lies the blessing of the Divine. A modern, edgy look with green eyeshadow and a unique crystal swastika headpiece.

About Creative & Editorial Artistry

Editorial makeup is about more than just applying color. It is about controlling how the light hits the skin and ensuring the features tell a cohesive story. Whether we are crafting a vintage-inspired wing or a graphic Navratri halo, I focus on the reason behind every line and pigment placement so the result looks intentional on camera, not just layered on.

When I step away from traditional bridal looks and into the studio for editorial work, my focus shifts entirely. Editorial makeup is the perfect sandbox for creative expression, and it requires a different set of technical skills compared to event makeup.

Why Concept Matters

Every look you see in this gallery started with a concept. Was it a tribute to Mughal-era elegance, or an exploration of tribal textures? By defining the theme first, we dictate the texture of the skin, the sharpness of the liner, and the placement of the highlight. If you are planning a shoot, don't just send me an outfit picture. Tell me the story you want to tell. We can build the makeup concept to support that.

The Technical Side

Graphic liners and bold shadows can look messy if the base isn't prepped correctly. In my editorial work, I treat the face like a canvas. I use specific dabbing techniques to ensure the skin looks authentic, even under studio lights. Whether it is a smudged vintage wing or a modern, high-fashion colored eye, I prioritize precision.

Let’s Create

This cluster isn't just about showing off; it is about demonstrating what is possible when we stop trying to just look 'pretty' and start trying to look 'striking.' If you have a vision for a conceptual project or need a specific editorial look for a campaign, let's talk about the textures, colors, and techniques that will make it happen.

I'm Sugandh, and I see makeup as a form of storytelling. When I’m not teaching at my Delhi studio, I’m experimenting with textures and themes, pushing my own limits to create looks that are bold, conceptual, and entirely unique to the muse I’m working with.
