A perfect drape makes all the difference. From sharp, traditional Kanjeevaram pleats to flawless lehenga styling, I ensure your outfit stays picture-perfect from start to finish.

I love the unique elegance of a Kodava or Coorgi style saree drape. Here, I've paired it with a simple, traditional hairstyle to let the beauty of the drape and the saree shine through.

For a reception, we chose a modern half-saree draping style. This is a great way to wear a traditional fabric in a contemporary way, and I paired it with a pearl-adorned half-updo.

This video showcases both my hairstyling and draping skills. I created a neat, traditional drape for this beautiful Kanjeevaram saree to complement the modern wavy ponytail.

A beautiful shot of the bride in her traditional silk saree. My draping ensures the pleats are perfect and the pallu falls gracefully.

Adjusting the final details of the saree drape. It's these small touches that create a flawless final look.

The beauty of a Mysore silk saree is in its fall and pleats. I take great care in draping to ensure it looks as elegant as it feels.

About Expert Saree & Lehenga Draping

It is not just about tucking and pinning; it is about architecture. I use professional steam ironing on-site to remove any fold lines, followed by precise pleat sculpting and strategic, concealed structural pinning. This ensures your saree stays perfectly aligned, whether you are walking to the mandap or dancing at your reception, without compromising your comfort.

Professional draping is the secret behind that clean, elegant look you see in photos. Whether you are wearing a heavy, stiff Kanjeevaram silk that requires careful handling or a fluid, tricky chiffon lehenga, my process focuses on stability and finish.

My Draping Process

  • Steam Ironing: I bring a professional steamer to your venue to eliminate stubborn creases before we even begin.
  • Pleat Sculpting: For Nivi or regional styles, I focus on equidistant pleats that fall straight and look sharp.
  • Structural Safety Pinning: I use rust-free, concealed pins to anchor the saree to your petticoat and blouse, creating a 'dance-proof' fit that won't shift as you move.

I understand that Bangalore events can be long. My goal is to make sure your outfit looks as fresh in the last hour as it did when you first got ready. I work with all fabric types—silk, georgette, velvet, and net—and I can help you with specific drapes like the Coorgi style or a classic South Indian muhurtham look. I am based in Bengaluru and travel to your home or hotel venue so you can get ready in peace without the stress of traveling to a studio.
