About Behind the Scenes: My Process

Precision is the secret to a look that lasts through hours of photos and dancing. Whether I am root-crimping for volume or using concealed pins to anchor a heavy Jada, my process is designed for durability. You will see me layering products and carefully rigging flowers to ensure your hairstyle feels light and looks flawless from the first ritual to the final goodbye.

My process starts long before the final accessory is placed. I believe that a great hairstyle is as much about engineering as it is about art.

The Foundation

Every look begins with prep work. For heavy traditional styles or voluminous buns, I use micro-crimping at the roots to create the lift and texture needed to hold heavy jewelry or flowers. Without this foundation, styles can fall flat or feel heavy by the end of the ceremony. I also use professional heat protectants and high-hold finishing sprays to ensure the hair remains shiny, frizz-free, and sturdy against Bangalore's changing weather.

The Art of Pinning

I avoid using excessive, damaging pins. My approach is to create a structural skeleton using netting and strategic safety pins for draping, or specialized hair pins for updos. If you have a specific vision, like a Pinterest-inspired fishtail braid or a modern half-updo, I analyze your natural hair texture first. We then adapt the style to fit your face shape and outfit, ensuring it does not pull or hurt while you walk or dance.

Floral & Accessory Rigging

Fresh flowers are the hallmark of South Indian hairstyles. My rigging process involves securing them in layers so they stay vibrant and firmly in place. I treat every head of hair like a canvas, ensuring that accessories like gold Jada, baby's breath, or roses are balanced and secured for movement. Whether I am in a hotel room in Hyderabad or at your home in Bengaluru, I bring this systematic approach to every event.
