About Music in Motion: Orchestra & Soloists
Our music program is hands-on from day one. Whether your child picks up a guitar or joins the MADS Orchestra, we ensure they are not just reading notes, but understanding rhythm and group harmony. Classes are kept in small batches of 4-15 students, which means Dev Sir and Shubro Sir can offer personalized feedback on finger positioning and posture during every single session.
Beyond Theory: The Learn-by-Doing Approach
We believe that music is a language, not just a subject. That is why our classes move away from long, boring lectures. Instead, we focus on immediate application. Students start playing melodies from their very first week. Whether it is acoustic guitar, piano, violin, or ukulele, we focus on technical accuracy alongside the joy of making music.
The MADS Orchestra
For many students, playing alone can be daunting. Our MADS Orchestra program changes that. By bringing vocalists, guitarists, and keyboard players together, children learn the art of listening and harmonizing. This group setting builds immense confidence and teaches the discipline required to stay in sync with peers—a life skill that goes far beyond the music room.
Certification and Exams
For students who want to take their learning further, we offer structured preparation for Trinity College London and Prayag Sangeet Samiti exams. While we prioritize fun and expression, we are rigorous about technique. We teach music theory, including staff notation and scale recognition, ensuring that our students have a strong foundation if they choose to pursue music professionally.
Our Studio Environment
Located in Malviya Nagar, our studio is designed for focus. It is an air-conditioned, sound-treated acoustic space equipped with mirrors and a professional PA system. We have studio-grade instruments available, but we encourage students to bring their own for consistent practice. Most importantly, it is a space where children feel safe to make mistakes, learn, and grow as a community of young artists.
