About Custom Nail Art: Your Vision, My Creation
When you bring a reference photo to my studio, I treat it as a starting point rather than a strict blueprint. My process involves analyzing your natural nail shape, skin tone, and daily lifestyle to adapt the design so it is both durable and perfectly suited to your hands.
Most people worry that intricate designs will weaken their natural nails, but that only happens when preparation is rushed. Before applying any art, I perform a thorough dry Russian manicure to clear the cuticle area and create a clean surface. This is not just for aesthetics; it ensures the gel bonds flush to the nail, preventing lifting and allowing the design to grow out cleanly for three to four weeks.
Why Technique Matters
Whether you choose hand-painted miniatures for a festive occasion or high-shine chrome finishes, I use structural techniques like apex building on sculpted extensions to ensure your nails do not just look good, but stay strong. I do not believe in quick fixes. If you have downward-growing nails or uneven nail beds, we correct the structure during the sculpting phase so the final result is straight and professional.
The Customization Process
Transitioning from inspiration to reality requires more than just polish. I adjust color palettes based on your outfit and skin tone. If you are preparing for a wedding or a film shoot, we discuss the camera-ready finish, ensuring 3D elements, stones, or crystals are placed to catch the light correctly without snagging on clothing. This is not about copy-pasting a design; it is about engineering a set of nails that fits you perfectly.
