Each sculpture is hand-built using coiling or carving techniques, often inspired by spiritual themes, nature, and the human form. From large statement installations to smaller decorative art, these are intuitive creations from the heart.
Everyday Ceramics for Your Home
I create functional pottery that is meant to be used and loved daily. All my mugs, bowls, and plates are high-fired stoneware, making them durable, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe. Because every piece is handmade, no two are ever exactly alike, bringing a unique touch to your daily rituals.
The Art of Making
Every piece begins as a simple lump of clay and is shaped by hand, either on the potter's wheel or through coiling and carving. We mix our own glazes and use various firing techniques, from electric and gas kilns to experimental smoke firings. This hands-on process means each creation is infused with intention and a story of its own.
Studio Life, Workshops & Community
Studio Karva is more than just my workspace; it's a place of shared growth and connection. We host open studio days, workshops for all levels, and nurture a community of students and apprentices.
