About The Signature Bandhgala & Jodhpuri
We use half-canvas fusing for our formal suits, which gives the jacket a structured, crisp chest drape that lasts. During your initial fitting at our Lajpat Nagar studio, we focus specifically on getting the shoulder slope and chest measurement exactly right, as that is where the distinction between a standard off-the-rack piece and a custom-made suit truly lies.
Our approach to the Bandhgala and Jodhpuri suit is rooted in the philosophy of 'Drishya,' or being seen. We avoid the overly embellished trends that dominate the wedding market, focusing instead on sharp silhouettes and clean lines.
We construct our formal suits using high-quality Italian TR blends, wool blends, and textured Jacquards. By utilizing half-canvas fusing, we ensure the garment retains its shape throughout the event without feeling heavy or stiff. Whether you prefer the traditional closed-neck aesthetic or a modern version with subtle leather trimmings and antique metal buttons, we tailor the piece to your frame.
We involve you in every step. A typical commission involves two specific trials. The first is a structure trial to calibrate the fall and width, and the second is a finishing trial to ensure the hem lengths are perfect. This process requires 15 to 20 days, so plan your visit to our Lajpat Nagar studio well in advance of your event.
