About Bespoke Tuxedos & Evening Wear
Getting a tuxedo right is entirely about the canvas and the lapel structure. We use reinforced fusing in all our dinner jackets and velvet tuxedos to ensure they maintain their sharp, crisp silhouette throughout long wedding nights, so you never look rumpled or lose your structure by the end of the party.
When you choose a bespoke tuxedo, you are moving away from standard fits into a garment engineered for your specific posture. In our Khanpur studio, we focus heavily on the 'build' of the jacket. For heavier fabrics like Italian velvet or jacquard weaves often requested for cocktail functions, we ensure the structural interlining is balanced to support the fabric weight without sacrificing breathability.
Our Tailoring Process
- Initial Consultation: We discuss the event vibe—whether it is a destination wedding, a corporate gala, or a cocktail night—to decide on lapel styles like the classic shawl, peak, or modern slim variations.
- Fabric Selection: We work with high-quality velvet, satin-finish wool, and intricate jacquards. For that added touch of exclusivity, we offer hand-embroidery on cuffs and lapels using traditional zardozi techniques.
- Fitting Trials: Every bespoke tuxedo includes at least two fitting trials. This allows us to adjust the rise of the trousers and the fit of the shoulders to perfection, ensuring the garment moves with you rather than against you.
The Finishing Touches
Beyond the fit, it is the details that make an outfit. We provide custom satin-covered buttons to match your lapels, premium patterned interior linings, and monogramming options for that personal stamp. Whether you need a subtle starry-black pattern for a formal appearance or a bold, geometric-print tuxedo to stand out in a crowd, our focus remains on precision. We deliver our finished ensembles within 7 to 10 working days, ensuring you are ready for your event with time to spare.

At Gentlemen Tailors, we believe a tuxedo should do more than just sit right; it should announce your arrival. We work out of our Delhi studio to create ensembles that feel entirely yours, whether you need a classic black-tie look or a bold, hand-embroidered velvet design for a wedding.
