About Love Stories: Engagements & Pre-Wedding
When we plan your pre-wedding shoot, I encourage couples to choose locations that hold real memories, like your favorite neighborhood park or a quiet street you both frequent. We dedicate 4 to 6 hours to the session, which allows us to move past the initial camera shyness. By the time we work through our three costume changes, you'll feel relaxed enough that the photographs capture your connection rather than just your clothes.
Finding Your Story in the Frame
Many couples worry that they aren't 'photogenic' or that they'll feel awkward posing. My approach is to remove the performance entirely. Whether we are in a vibrant heritage precinct in Mumbai or a quiet, leafy park in Vadodara, I spend more time observing than directing. I look for the way you naturally hold hands, how you lean in when you talk, and the specific comfort you find in each other.
The Logistics
- Sessions: I offer 4 to 6-hour slots, which gives us time to catch the best light. We aim for the golden hour whenever possible, as that soft, warm sunlight adds a cinematic quality to your images.
- Locations: I prefer one or two locations that allow us to move at a natural pace. If you have a sentimental spot, that is always the best place to start.
- Costumes: You have the freedom to change up to three times. We can mix and match styles—perhaps starting with casual wear, moving into traditional ethnic attire, and finishing with something elegant or modern.
Delivering Your Memories
After our session, I take the time to hand-select and edit your images. You can expect 40 to 50 high-end retouched portraits, along with 100 to 150 color-corrected files. I deliver your digital gallery within 2 to 3 weeks, ensuring you have your photos well before your main wedding festivities begin. If you are traveling or have specific requirements for your engagement shoot, just let me know—I am happy to travel across India or to the UAE to document your story.
