About Engagement & Pre-Wedding Moments
When I shoot an engagement or pre-wedding session, I am not looking for perfect, static poses. I am looking for the way you look at each other when you think no one is watching, the nervous excitement of the ring exchange, or the quiet comfort of being in a beautiful, open space. My goal is to capture those tiny, unscripted details that define your relationship, blending traditional cultural grace with a modern, cinematic feel that looks natural.
The time between your engagement and the main wedding day is filled with a unique kind of energy. It is personal, intimate, and often a lot more relaxed than the chaos of the wedding itself. That is why I love these sessions.
My approach to engagement photography is rooted in observation. During ring ceremonies, I focus on the reactions—the laughter of your parents, the candid smiles of friends, and the genuine joy when the ring slides on. I know the rituals, so I am always ready for the important moments, but I never intrude.
For pre-wedding shoots, I like to take you out of the city environment. Whether we are shooting in the outskirts of Mumbai, the greenery of Pune, or the coastal vibes of Alibag, I aim for a cinematic look. We typically spend 4 to 5 hours together, which gives us plenty of time to get comfortable. I encourage you to bring 2 to 3 outfit changes—something traditional for that classic touch, and something casual for the candid shots.
I want these photos to feel like you. I play with light and shadows to create depth, avoiding the over-processed look that makes people seem like mannequins. If you are nervous in front of the camera, do not worry. I guide you just enough to get the lighting right, but the rest is just you being yourselves.
