These first 48 hours are a blur. I step into your hospital room to capture the raw, honest beauty of your baby's arrival, focusing on the first cries, tiny features, and the quiet awe of those first hours together.

About Your Baby's First Day: Hospital Sessions

Since hospital rooms have harsh lighting and busy backgrounds, I shoot these sessions in high-contrast black and white. This style strips away the clinical clutter and focuses entirely on the intimacy of your new addition, making the photos timeless rather than a snapshot of a medical room.

Why a Fresh 48 Session?

The chaos of childbirth means the first few days often pass in a hazy rush. A Fresh 48 session is designed to document those fleeting, authentic moments before you even head home. Unlike studio shoots, there are no elaborate costumes or posing setups here. This is pure documentary photography—capturing the way your baby’s hand wraps around your finger, the first time you hold them, and the quiet relief of having them finally in your arms.

The ClickMeMom Approach

When I arrive at your room—whether at Cloudnine, Fortis, or Apollo—I work quickly and quietly. These sessions are limited to 30 or 45 minutes to ensure you and your baby get the rest you need. My priority is to be a fly on the wall, capturing your family’s natural interaction without interrupting the recovery process.

Why Black & White?

Hospital rooms are rarely designed for photoshoots. By focusing on black and white editing, I eliminate distracting background colors and harsh clinical lighting. This artistic choice highlights textures—your baby's delicate skin, the fabric of the swaddle, and the emotion on your face—creating portraits that feel intimate, warm, and classic.

Safety and Planning

Hygiene is non-negotiable. I use sanitized equipment and follow all hospital-grade protocols. If you're interested in booking, it's best to reach out towards the end of your third trimester so I can keep my calendar flexible around your estimated due date.
