I capture the massive scale and vibrant spirit of India's biggest festivals, from the Mysore Palace lights to city-wide celebrations, entirely from the sky.

The world-famous Mysuru Palace illuminated for the Dasara festival. My specialty is capturing these spectacular night-time events, showing how grand architecture and festive lights can transform a city. This top-down reveal shot is one of my favorites.

Welcome to Mysuru for the grand Dasara celebrations. This video is an aerial tour of the city, from Lalith Mahal Palace to the bustling, lit-up streets of KR Circle, capturing the city's festive transformation.

A cinematic journey showing the grand Mysuru Dasara celebration. The entire city is lit up for ten days, and this footage captures the illuminated palace and the festive atmosphere that takes over Mysuru.

The Mysore Palace lights up to mark the beginning of Dasara. Capturing this exact moment is a thrill, as nearly 100,000 bulbs turn on at once, revealing the palace's stunning architecture against the night sky.

Another perspective of the Mysore Palace lighting up for Dasara. I waited for the perfect moment to capture the grounds and the palace coming to life, an event that draws visitors from all over the world.

The greatest festival of Karnataka, Mysuru Dasara, is coming soon. This aerial shot of the illuminated palace serves as a teaser, showcasing the grandeur that I am hired to capture.

Bengaluru getting ready for Independence Day. This footage shows the Vidhan Soudha and other buildings lit up in the tricolor, capturing the patriotic spirit of the city at night.

About this collection

When filming massive festivals like the Kaveri Aarti or the Mysuru Dasara, the biggest challenge is lighting consistency. I work with dual-drone setups, using cinema-grade sensors that handle low-light transitions perfectly, so you get clear, stabilized footage of fire shows and light displays rather than grainy shapes.

Capturing the pulse of a festival requires more than just high-altitude shots. It needs a balance between architectural grandeur and ground-level immersion. For large-scale events, I deploy two systems: a DJI Mavic 3 Pro for sweeping, 5.1K establishing shots of the venue, and the Avata 2 FPV for dynamic, close-proximity fly-throughs that make the audience feel like they are inside the celebration.

Whether it is the 100,000 bulbs illuminating the Mysore Palace during Dasara or the intricate light displays at Bangalore's tech parks for Diwali, my workflow ensures minimal interference while maximizing visual impact. I am a DGCA-certified pilot, which means I handle the necessary permissions for flying over high-density zones or public gatherings safely.

You aren't just getting raw footage. I provide professionally graded highlights that are ready for social media or broadcast, synced to audio that captures the ambient energy of the crowd. If you have an event requiring complex night operations, flight-path planning, or multi-angle coverage, let's discuss the specific requirements for your venue to ensure everything is captured safely and professionally.
