I use cinematic drones to document the scale and intensity of live sports, from IPL matches at Chinnaswamy to traditional Kambala races.

About this collection

Shooting inside a stadium full of fans requires more than just a camera, it requires a DGCA certified pilot who understands crowd safety protocols. Whether I am using the Mavic 3 Pro to establish the scale of the stadium or the Avata 2 FPV for dynamic, high-speed fly-throughs, the goal is to capture the intensity of the game without disturbing the event flow.

When documenting sporting events, the lighting and the movement of the crowd dictate the shot. I specialize in transitions, moving from the open stadium skies down into the pitch or the stands using specialized FPV (First Person View) drones. This creates an immersive experience that standard ground cameras cannot replicate.

Why FPV for Sports?

Standard drones are great for establishing shots, but for sports, you need energy. I use the DJI Avata 2 to get into the heart of the action, whether it is tracking a game at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium or capturing the mud-flying intensity of Kambala races in Udupi.

Working with Night Lighting

Most high-stakes sporting matches, including IPL finals, happen under floodlights. My equipment is tuned for these conditions, allowing for sharp footage even during day-to-night transitions. I have handled everything from tracking city-wide victory celebrations to shooting tight, solar-paneled roof flyovers.

Safety and Compliance

Flying over thousands of people is a responsibility. Being DGCA certified means I plan takeoff and landing zones to keep the equipment and the audience safe. If you need coverage that combines high-energy visuals with strict professionalism, I am your pilot.

Namaskara! I am Srihari, and I am obsessed with finding the perfect angle for the action. I spend most of my match days with my eyes on the sky, flying my FPV drone over Chinnaswamy Stadium to catch the energy of Namma Bengaluru.
