Featured Artistic & Soulful Photography
A collection of images representing my visual journey. From painterly portraits to the stillness of nature, these frames are meditations on consciousness and form.
Inspired by the timeless paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, this portrait captures the grace and warmth of a mother. I use only ambient light to create this soft, painterly effect, turning a photograph into a modern heirloom that families can cherish forever.
In monochrome, distractions fade away, revealing the soul's true expression. This fine art black and white portrait was created during a quiet, meditative session, allowing the subject's inner world to emerge through a simple, powerful gaze.
This is a portrait of my guru, Shri Maitreya ji, captured in a moment of divine presence. My spiritual portrait sessions are for anyone seeking to connect with their deeper self, creating an image that serves as a guide and an inspiration.
This image, which received an Honourable Mention at the Black & White Spider Awards, is called 'The Blessing'. It explores a sense of freedom and connection to the elements, capturing a moment of pure, weightless expression against the evening sky.
The vibrant energy of Holi in Vrindavan is pure joy. This candid street portrait captures the infectious happiness of a man immersed in the festival's colors, a moment where his spirit shines brightly and without reservation.
This image, titled 'Stillness', was nominated at the 19th International BW Spider Awards. For me, photography is a meditation, and this lone darter on the misty Bhadra river embodies the profound peace and stillness I seek to capture in all my work.
This is an energy painting, a visual exploration of a flower's conscious energy. Using long exposure and light, I trace the subtle movements of light to create an image that feels alive, reflecting the unseen forces that connect all things.
About Featured
Each frame here is a result of patience, not performance. I work only with ambient light, avoiding harsh flashes to keep the atmosphere calm. Whether I am shooting a family portrait or a study of nature, I wait for that specific moment of truth where the light and the subject’s energy align.
Photography, for me, is an act of stillness. When I look through the lens, I am not trying to manufacture a moment. I am waiting for it to reveal itself. This collection is a bridge between my various worlds—the painterly heirlooms that celebrate family bonds, the monochrome portraits that strip away distraction, and the conceptual art that explores the energy of the natural world.
I shoot primarily with Fuji equipment because I appreciate how it handles natural light. I actually welcome the grain and texture in my images. To me, that noise is not a flaw; it is character. It gives the final print a depth that feels organic, much like an oil painting.
Whether you are looking for a portrait session in Bengaluru that feels less like a photoshoot and more like a meditative experience, or you are drawn to the stories in my wildlife and nature work, my approach remains the same. I do not rush. I allow the session to breathe. My goal is to capture images that serve as a guiding spirit or a yantra for you, something that retains its warmth and relevance long after the shutter clicks.
