Building a solid foundation at this age is everything. I work with young cricketers to fix their basics and develop the cricket-specific muscle memory that makes a champion.

About Developing Young Champions (U-15)

If a young player has a flaw in their stance or head position, no amount of hitting balls will fix it. I don't give generic feedback. We identify exactly where the issue lies, be it balance or weight transfer, and then use progressive drills to correct it. My goal is to fix the problem at the root so that the correct technique becomes your muscle memory, not just a drill you do on the field.

At the U-15 level, technical errors can become permanent habits if they aren't caught early. I see many talented kids who have been playing for years but struggle because their basics, like grip and body setup, were never corrected. My training methodology is divided into three tiers: Level 1 (basics), Level 2 (technique refinement), and Level 3 (high-performance execution).

The SP Yadav Methodology

My sessions are not about volume. You won't find me telling kids to just hit hundreds of balls aimlessly. Instead, we focus on:

  • Biomechanical Correction: We analyze the 'why' behind every mistake. Whether it's a dragging backlift or a shaky head position, we fix it with specific drills.
  • Integrated Fitness: Cricket fitness is different from gym fitness. We work on core strength, stamina, and agility specifically designed to support your batting and fielding mechanics, especially when you are tired.
  • The Mental Game: Technique is only half the battle. We work on cricket IQ, field reading, and mental toughness so you know exactly which shot to play and when to defend.

I offer this training for players in Delhi NCR at my center, and I also work with young athletes globally via online sessions. Whether you are a beginner or a state-level aspirant, the work remains the same: discipline, repetition, and quality practice. We look at everything from your reaction time to your tactical approach, ensuring you have the tools to survive and thrive in high-pressure match scenarios.
