No Rules Painting Workshops for Beginners

When we started Splash Movement Studio, the goal was simple: creating a space where people could actually de-stress. We spend enough time following rules and staring at screens. Here, we do the opposite. You will notice we do not use brushes in our hand painting workshops. By using your fingers and hands, you connect directly with the paint's texture. It changes how you perceive the art—it becomes tactile and intuitive rather than analytical.

We also enforce a strict no-phone policy. It sounds intense, but it is the secret ingredient to actually unwinding. When you are not worried about capturing the perfect photo or checking notifications, you actually engage with what is in front of you. Whether we are in HSR or a quiet cafe in Mumbai, the setup remains the same: a small group, non-toxic paints, and complete freedom to make a mess.

If you have ever felt intimidated by art classes or told yourself that you are just not creative, you are exactly the person we want to see in our studio. There is no right way to do this. You might walk out with an abstract piece or something completely unidentifiable, but you will definitely walk out with paint on your hands and a clearer head.
