Authentic Holiday & Festival Photography
Whether it’s the quiet warmth of Christmas lights or the vibrant tradition of Raksha Bandhan, I help you bottle up the feelings of the festive season before they pass.

About Holiday & Festival Shoots
I don’t aim for perfect, stiff family portraits where everyone stares at the lens. Instead, I focus on the actual moments—the way your little one clutches a candy cane, the chaotic energy of opening gifts, or the quiet focus during a Rakhi tying ceremony. These sessions are about capturing your family’s unique festive rhythm, even if that means a toddler is mid-tantrum or the puppy is running through the background.
My approach to festival photography is rooted in the same philosophy I use for all my family work: the best memories happen when we stop trying to control the frame. Whether it’s Christmas in your living room or a sunny Raksha Bandhan gathering, I prioritise your comfort.
I offer sessions that are flexible enough to handle the reality of family life. If you have a specific tradition, like making cocoa or setting up an altar, we build the shoot around that activity. There is no rigid studio pressure here. I work primarily in Hyderabad, shooting in your home or a local spot that holds meaning for you.
For Christmas, we can lean into the warm, moody lighting of your tree and decorations to create those cozy, nostalgic images. For Indian festivals, I love capturing the vibrant colours of the thali, the traditional threads, and the messy joy of the celebration.
I also include styling guidance. You don't need to stress about what to wear or how to decorate. We can talk about outfits that complement your home and the festive theme beforehand. My goal is to deliver a collection of digital images that feel like a warm hug, allowing you to relive the season years later.
Sonal Bindra
I'm Sonal. Being a mom to two boys changed how I see festivals—I've learned to trade perfect setups for the real joy of a slightly messy living room and honest, candid moments. I shoot with patience, letting your kids and traditions lead the way, to create photos that feel just as warm as the memories they capture.
