A Glimpse of the Magic
Welcome to my world of wonder! From vanishing cards to confetti finales, I bring live, interactive magic shows to stages and living rooms all over Bengaluru.
This video shows one of my favorite illusions: the 'Cane to Flower Pot' trick. A simple cane instantly transforms into a beautiful pot of flowers right before your eyes.
A close-up of the 'Lota Bowl' or 'Water from Nowhere' illusion, combined with a colorful silk scarf. This classic trick always leaves the audience asking, "How did he do that?"
Performing a jumbo card trick on stage. These large cards are great for bigger audiences, making sure no one misses the magic.
The famous 'mouth streamer' trick. A seemingly endless stream of paper ribbon appears from my mouth, creating a fun and surprising visual for the audience. Maza aaya?
A shower of confetti creates a magical moment. This is a fantastic way to add excitement and a celebratory feel to any part of my show.
A close-up look at one of my props, a feather bouquet that can appear in an instant. The bright colors and sudden appearance make it a visual treat.
Using a traditional fan to add flair to a confetti illusion. The combination of classic props and surprising outcomes is what makes stage magic so entertaining.
Setting up for a trick during a night show. The magic continues even after the sun goes down, creating a different and mysterious atmosphere.
About A Glimpse of the Magic
You get more than just a performance; you get a fully interactive show where I pull audience members on stage to be part of the wonder. Whether it’s for a small birthday party or a large corporate stage, I bring my own professional equipment and signature costume to ensure every guest gets a front-row experience, from the first card reveal to the final confetti blast.
Magic is not just about the tricks; it is about the feeling. When I perform, I want to see that look of awe on your face, and that is why I design my sets to be completely interactive.
My Show Tiers
I offer two main ways to bring the magic to your event:
- Standard Interactive Kids Show: Perfect for birthdays (ages 4-12), these 30-40 minute sets focus on comedy and laughter. We use the magic coloring book, endless coils, and vanishing sponge balls. I bring a voice amplifier so you do not need to worry about extra audio equipment in your home.
- Grand Visual Stage Show: If you are hosting a school annual day, college fest, or corporate family event, this 45-60 minute show brings the drama. Expect live doves, controlled fire effects, and a confetti snowstorm finale. These shows are designed for visibility in larger halls or auditoriums.
Technical Requirements
I keep the logistics simple so you can focus on the party. For home shows, I only need a 6x6 feet space. For larger stage shows, a raised platform is better, but I can adapt to most event floors. I handle my own background music and prop setup.
My goal is always the same: to hear that jorada chappale (loud applause) at the end of the show. If you are looking for a magician who engages with the crowd rather than just performing at them, let’s talk.
Somesh Somu
I’m Somesh Somu, and I have been chasing that "how did he do that?" look on faces since I was a kid. Whether it is a school fest or a cozy birthday party, I live for the jorada chappale (loud applause) and seeing the wonder in your eyes.
