About Electronic Music Production & DJ Workshops
I’ve spent 17 years in music, and I see every workshop as a chance for real exchange. I’m not just teaching – we’re having conversations, experimenting and figuring things out together. If you’re a beginner or stuck somewhere, I know that feeling. I’ve been through it all – from self-doubt to the magic of finishing a track that actually feels like your sound.
What We’ll Do
- Start with the basics if you’re new – I walk you through Ableton Live basics and my own workflow
- Get hands-on with beatmaking and production, especially if you’re into Drum & Bass (love building #dnbnaari tracks from scratch)
- Dive into sampling and sound design, including how I mix Indian instruments like tabla, sitar, and flute into electronic music
- Learn DJing with Pioneer CDJs and Rekordbox, plus tips for prepping sets for clubs or festivals
- Try hybrid sets and harmonic mixing techniques for those smooth transitions
How We Work
We keep it real and interactive – lots of Q&A, random tangents, and unexpected ideas. Whether it’s one-on-one in my home studio, small group jams, or bigger masterclasses, I want you to feel safe to ask, mess up, and just vibe. We experiment, sometimes we get stuck, sometimes we nail it – chhan waatatay (it feels great).
I’ll share everything I know, from tech to mindset. The main thing? You get to find your sound, show your culture, and spread good energy through your music.

My Story
Words sometimes just don’t cut it, yaar. I’m Smokey, 17 years in the game, from watching Bandish Projekt in the crowd to sharing the stage with him. Raised with less, but always found more in music and giving back—like donating to Indore schools or chatting with girls about menstrual health. My cook, Nisha Tai, is family, and taking her to Banaras was pure joy. I’m a Maharashtrian girl, playing my own Marathi Drum & Bass Mix at festivals—even Indonesia! Spreading love, always grateful. TEDx speaker too, but mostly just me.

DJ & Music Producer - I play DJ sets, live Ableton gigs, and produce music. Also do workshops and TEDx talks.
My Sound, My Soul - I’m dnbnaari, mixing Indian Classical, Bollywood, and Marathi folk with Drum & Bass. IndiraaMusic is my House/Techno side.
The Vibe I Bring - Festivals, college fests, clubs—I’m there. Expect Asian Underground DJ set, Bolly-EDM fusion, custom bass music edits.
Teaching & Sharing - Ableton production workshop, DJ techniques, all about sharing and growing together.
