My Journey in Sound
Music is how I share my roots and my story. After 17 years chasing the right beat, I've landed on a style that’s all heart and a bit raw. I use my sets to spread kindness too - a part of whatever I earn goes to people and animals who need it. Chhan waatatay (it feels great) to know the music does good off the dancefloor too.
Drum and Bass, Always
If you catch me on stage, expect a full-on Drum and Bass DJ set. DnB is my lifeblood, from Liquid vibes to the mad rush of Neurofunk and Jungle. I live for those Strictly Drum & Bass nights when everyone’s just moving together.
Where India Meets Electronic
I’m all about mixing Indian classical remix elements with electronic fusion music. You’ll hear sitar, tabla, and even mantras worked into my tracks. I make my own BollyTech edits - classic Bollywood and Hindi songs flipped into bass-heavy, modern sounds. Asian Underground influences run deep in my sets too.
Versatile Vibes
I switch things up for every crowd - big weddings, corporate gigs, or festivals. My sets can jump from House and Techno to Hip Hop, Trap, Breaks, and UK Garage. Reading the room is key.
The Live Experience
On stage I use Ableton Live to remix and layer tracks, so every show is one-of-a-kind. Sometimes I’m spinning in a Saree, just repping my culture while the beats drop. I’m here to make you feel something real, and maybe even dance a bit wild.

My Story
Words sometimes just don’t cut it, yaar. I’m Smokey, 17 years in the game, from watching Bandish Projekt in the crowd to sharing the stage with him. Raised with less, but always found more in music and giving back—like donating to Indore schools or chatting with girls about menstrual health. My cook, Nisha Tai, is family, and taking her to Banaras was pure joy. I’m a Maharashtrian girl, playing my own Marathi Drum & Bass Mix at festivals—even Indonesia! Spreading love, always grateful. TEDx speaker too, but mostly just me.
