Sign Fest and Indian Sign Language Workshops in Bangalore
Join us to break silence and bridge gaps. We host Sign Fest and community workshops in Bangalore, creating space for Deaf and hearing worlds to connect through ISL, mime, and pure, unfiltered joy.
A look back at Sign Fest 2024, where 197 people gathered at Rangoli Metro Art Center to celebrate the International Day of Sign Language. It was a day of learning, connection, and pure joy.
Sign Fest is a beautiful reminder that communication goes far beyond words. Through mime, signed songs, and interactive sessions, we connect on a deeper level.

About Sign Fest & Deaf Community Allyship
Our workshops aren't just lectures. They are led by Deaf community members themselves, not just interpreters. This ensures you learn authentic Indian Sign Language and cultural nuance, moving beyond simple gestures to actual, meaningful communication.
At The Inclusion Movement, we believe that inclusion is a way of living. Our Sign Fest events, often held at iconic public spaces like the Rangoli Metro Art Center, are designed to make communication accessible for everyone. When you join our sessions, you aren't just learning the A-Z of ISL, you are stepping into a world where hearing and Deaf communities interact, share stories, and celebrate together.
We focus on 'Deaf Allyship' which means understanding the culture behind the language. Through our partnerships with community leaders and groups like Deaf Bookwave, we organize activities that strip away the barriers. You might see a mime performance, participate in silent games, or simply practice conversation in a setting where nobody is judged for fumbling a sign.
We operate out of our community hub, Karmasthan, in BTM Layout. This is where the magic happens—from eco-friendly workshops to sign language classes. Whether you are a total beginner or looking to refine your signing skills, our sessions are open to everyone in Bangalore. It is all about the 'josh' of connecting with people you might never have met otherwise. Come join the movement, learn something new, and help us build a Bangalore where everyone's voice is heard, no matter how they speak.

We started as a group of friends wanting to give back and now, we are building a movement. We believe everyone belongs and that communication shouldn't have limits. Come meet our crew at Karmasthan and let's make things happen together.
