We run events where disability does not define the experience. Join our Happy Festival, a day connecting 200 visually impaired students with 200 volunteers for shared joy.

An invitation to join us at the Happy Festival, a day of joy and togetherness. We bring visually impaired students and volunteers together for board games, treasure hunts, storytelling, and more.

You can support the Happy Festival by helping us provide meals for 200 students with vision impairment. Every contribution helps us create a joyful and inclusive experience for everyone involved.

This picture says it all. The support from partners like Manipal Academy of Higher Education and the CRPF is the backbone of the Happy Festival, enabling us to host this large scale event.

We are thrilled to partner with Manipal Academy of Higher Education as our venue for the Happy Festival. Their support empowers us to bring together hundreds of participants and volunteers.

More happy faces from our Rakhi making event. Volunteers and participants, including those with visual impairments, proudly show off the beautiful, eco-friendly rakhis they created together.

About Happy Festival & Visually Impaired Inclusion

We do not just host games. We create tactile experiences, like maze books and treasure hunts, where sighted and visually impaired participants figure things out together. It is not about charity, it is about connecting as equals while using tools like audio descriptions and specialized play equipment to break down communication barriers.

At the Happy Festival, inclusion is a verb. We focus on activities that do not rely solely on vision. When we host board games or treasure hunts, we pair sighted volunteers with visually impaired students to navigate the challenge side by side. It removes the barriers instantly. We partner with local universities like Manipal Academy to use their campuses, ensuring the space is accessible for everyone. For our crafting sessions, we design tactile maze books or use textured materials so everyone gets to participate in the creative process. If you want to volunteer, we do not ask for prior experience, just energy. You will learn how to describe surroundings, how to offer guidance without being overbearing, and how to just be a friend. It is messy, it is loud, and it is entirely real. We keep our events budget-friendly by running them as community-led initiatives, relying on a network of people who just want to show up. Whether you are a student or a professional, you are welcome to help us run these festivals in Bengaluru.
