This is the first thing users see. It’s designed to quickly communicate our energy, scale, and core mission of inclusive, volunteer-powered community events.
Tandav: Our Flagship Inclusive Dance Festival
This is our largest event of the year, where over 1500 people, including 1000+ children with disabilities, come together for a massive celebration of dance. We feature everything from traditional Shinkari Melam and Punjabi Dhol to live DJs, proving that dance is a universal language that includes everyone.
Sign Fest & Deaf Community Allyship
We are committed to being strong allies for the Deaf community. We organize Sign Fest, a celebration of Indian Sign Language (ISL), and host regular free workshops to bridge the communication gap between Deaf and hearing individuals through performances, games, and interactive learning.
Happy Festival & Visually Impaired Inclusion
The Happy Festival is one of our key annual events, designed specifically for over 200 students with vision impairment. We partner with institutions like Manipal University to create a day filled with accessible activities like audio-described movies, tactile games, and music, all supported by 200+ dedicated volunteers.
Karmasthan: Our BTM Layout Volunteering Hub
Located in BTM Layout, Karmasthan is India's first physical space dedicated entirely to volunteering and inclusion. It's our home base where we organize everything from intimate music sessions and book clubs to inclusive workshops like eco-friendly Rakhi making and events for the Deaf community.
Open Mics & Creative Showcases
We believe art is a powerful tool for connection and fundraising. We organize a variety of open mic nights and creative showcases like 'Stage for a Cause' and 'Groove n' Vibe', providing a platform for singers, poets, dancers, and comedians to share their talent while supporting our inclusion festivals.
Weekend Community Gatherings
The best way to get to know us is to join us. We host a wide range of free and low-cost gatherings on weekends, from 'Craft for a Cause' sessions and dance practices in Cubbon Park to 'Picnic with Strangers' and camping trips. These events are designed to build community, make friends, and support our larger inclusion projects.
Our Story: The Inclusion Movement
We started as 'Smileys' in 2011, a small group of friends wanting to give back. Today, we are 'The Inclusion Movement', a large-scale volunteer organization that has sparked thousands of volunteering journeys and even inspired others to start their own NGOs. This is the story of our evolution and our unwavering commitment to togetherness.
