A look at how I blend modern minimalism with structural logic. Whether it is a fresh build or a renovation, I focus on creating spaces that actually breathe.
A full view of the Dasharatha residence in Bangalore. This design focuses on a simple, clean aesthetic, using natural stone cladding and a geometric MS jali screen to create a modern yet timeless facade that interacts beautifully with the surrounding greenery.
This 3D render shows how a double-height living space can be transformed with a brick jali screen. The perforated wall filters natural light, creating dynamic patterns of light and shadow while ensuring privacy and connecting the indoors with a cozy sit-out area.
This visual demonstrates my process for a renovation project on Hennur main road. I start with a concept sketch overlaid on a 3D model to help you visualize the complete transformation of a traditional house into a contemporary home using lightweight facade elements.
The facade of the Arun Reddy residence in Hosur, designed on a corner plot. The concept plays with solid and void masses, using angular inclined walls to create a unique, contemporary look that is also fully Vastu-compliant.
A close-up of a curved balcony featuring a clay block jali screen. This is a great way to control harsh sunlight while adding a raw, textural element to the building's exterior, enhancing the connection with nature.
A render of a sleek, modern galley kitchen. The design emphasizes functionality with handleless cabinets, integrated appliances, and a wooden ceiling feature that adds warmth and defines the space, all illuminated by a skylight.
A quick walkthrough of a renovation in progress. This shows how I bring design concepts to life, focusing on creating openings for natural light with features like circular skylights, even in the early stages of construction.
About this collection
When I take on a renovation, I do not start by breaking everything down. I look at how to use light and existing structure to change the mood of the room. I often use double-height ceilings or clay jali screens to shift the focus from the old to the new, keeping the structure lightweight so you do not need major, expensive foundation work.
Architecture with a Soul
I believe a space needs a soul, not just walls. My approach to architecture, whether for a new home in Bangalore or a renovation in Hosur, is built on balancing solid and void masses. You can see this in projects like the Arun Reddy residence, where we used angular inclined walls to create a contemporary look that is also fully Vastu-compliant.
The Renovation Mindset
Many of my clients come to me wanting a change, but they are worried about the mess of demolition. My method is different. I focus on facade transformations using MS sheets, HPL cladding, or clay jali blocks. These materials are lightweight, which is crucial for older buildings. They provide ventilation and create interesting light and shadow patterns without adding stress to the existing structure.
Making Space
If you have a tight 20x30 plot, you might think you are limited. I treat these small sites as a puzzle to be solved, not a constraint. By using features like circular skylights, open-plan layouts, and double-height living areas, I can make a modest footprint feel expansive. I use 3D models and realistic renders from the start, so you see exactly how the sunlight hits your living room before we even lay a single brick. If you want a home that feels open, functional, and uniquely yours, that is where we should start.
