Public Speaking and Drama Classes for Kids
Help your child find their voice. Through fun drama games, storytelling, and stage performances, we build the confidence and speech clarity kids need to express themselves freely.
My "Speaking Leaders" program helps children aged 2.5 to 10 years express themselves on various topics. This compilation shows students speaking about everything from animals and festivals to family.
This is a behind the scenes look at my drama class for speaking leaders. The children are engaged in a group activity, learning to collaborate, listen, and take turns speaking.
Learning to communicate also involves fun and games. Here, students in the "Speaking Leaders" program are playing a descriptive board game that encourages critical thinking and verbal expression.
This parent shares their thoughts right after our "Jungle Jamboree" theatre show. They highlight how performing on stage is a wonderful opportunity and a great source of exposure for young children.
It fills my heart to see parents so proud. This mother expresses her joy after watching her child perform, thanking me for the lovely experience and the positive impact of the theatre program.
About Building Confident Speakers
My Speaking Leaders program moves beyond basic reading, using microphone training and role-play to get kids comfortable with public speaking. We record mini-presentations so you can track your child's progress, focusing on building their body language and confidence rather than just reciting lines from a script.
How We Build Confidence
Public speaking isn't about memorizing paragraphs. It is about understanding how to communicate a thought with clarity. In my drama and speaking classes held across Punjabi Bagh and Kirti Nagar, we use a few specific tools to help children aged 2.5 to 10 feel at home on stage.
- Microphone Practice: Using handheld mics during sessions helps kids get used to the sound of their own amplified voice, removing the fear of being heard.
- Role-Play & Theatre: We use scripts, masks, and props to let kids step into different characters. This is the quickest way to lower inhibitions and boost stage presence.
- Impromptu Speaking: I introduce fun "Show and Tell" exercises where kids have to describe an object on the spot, which sharpens their thinking and Diction.
Why Start Early?
Many parents ask when is the right time to start these sessions. The answer is simple. The earlier a child learns to speak their mind without hesitation, the better they perform in school and social settings. My batches are small, consisting of 6 to 12 children, which allows me to provide individual feedback on voice modulation and eye contact. Whether your child is naturally shy or full of energy, these sessions provide the right environment to flourish.
We don't just teach performance. We teach kids to listen, collaborate, and take turns—essential social skills that complement their academic learning.
