My Approach: Growing Step by Step
I’m Ruchi ma’am, and for me, childhood isn’t just about ABCs and 123s - it’s about chote chote steps (small small steps) that spark big changes. Since 2009, I’ve tried to create a space where every child feels happy, confident, and free to explore. I don’t do rote learning, seriously. I focus on the whole child, not bas books nahi (not just books).
What Happens Here
Our Early Childhood Development Programs are for little ones aged 2 to 6. I use a mix of play-based early learning, movement, and creative fun to help kids learn without even feeling like they’re in a “class.” Multi-sensory preschool curriculum means we blend games, music, art, and physical play so kids stay engaged.
- Phonics activities for preschoolers become a game - no boring drills! Kids jump, blend sounds, and start reading their first words with confidence.
- Gross motor skill development for toddlers happens through obstacle courses, dance, and races. We get those big muscles moving.
- Emotional intelligence in young children is a biggie for me. Sound wellness sessions, music, and gentle movement help kids feel calm, happy, and connected.
What Kids Take Away
Kids build focus, patience, and problem-solving skills, plus confidence in reading and speaking. Their bodies get stronger, their hearts get happier, and they make friends while having fun. I’m not promising perfection, but I do promise a place where giggles and growth go hand in hand.

My Story
Hi, Ruchi here. Skillful Minds is my happy place since 2009. Used to teach art at BBPS, but wanted more for kids - not just textbook stuff. Seeing little stars perform in our theatre show or showing off their Mandala art, oh, it’s magic! Parents say their kids read better, speak with confidence now. We’re like one big family, sab ek saath (all together), growing every day. Every child leaves a mark, and that’s what keeps me going.
My Work
Activities for every child - We offer 30+ after-school activities, from kids theatre show to phonics reading program, art, abacus, chess, and more.
Creative birthday art party - We plan fun, budget-friendly art parties for all ages. Mandala painting, basket art, you name it!
Holistic child development - No boring rote learning. Kids build confidence, learn public speaking, and think creatively.
Toddler learning activities - Special programs for ages 2.5+, like phonics and play-based learning. Yahan bachhe khel khel mein seekhte hain (kids learn through play).
