I use sturdy wooden battens or mesh grids for the base, not just glue, so your wall stays flat and secure even in damp conditions. Whether it is a narrow office pillar or a large balcony wall, I choose the foliage density based on the lighting and surface to make sure it looks full and natural without being too heavy for the wall.
