My caricature setup is designed to be a conversation starter. Whether it is a sangeet, a corporate award night, or a birthday, I focus on 'hasyache karanje' (fountains of laughter) by engaging guests while I sketch.

Choosing the Right Style for Your Event

• Express Monochrome Sketches: Best for large gatherings or high-volume events. I use professional-grade permanent markers on heavyweight 200-250 GSM cardstock. I can deliver 30 to 40 faces in a 3-hour session, keeping the pace fast so everyone gets a turn.
• Signature Color Caricatures: Ideal for smaller, premium events where guests want a detailed keepsake. These take longer, about 8 to 10 minutes per person, allowing me to add alcohol-based marker shading and thematic doodles. You can expect about 18 to 20 sketches per 3-hour session.

Customization and Branding

I treat each sketch as a piece of branded souvenir. For corporate clients, I can include company logos, hashtags, or specific event names directly on the cardstock templates. For weddings, we can add the couple's name or a special date.

The Setup

I bring my own portable French easel and clip-on LED lighting to ensure I can work anywhere, even in dim banquet halls. All sketches are handed over in protective sleeves so guests can carry them home without worrying about ink smudges or damage.
