How I create your animal bento cakes

Every cake you see here starts with a 4-inch sponge base. I primarily use two methods to bring these creatures to life. For textured animals like bears or dogs, I use delicate buttercream piping to build up the 'fur' layer by layer. For characters that need more structure or specific features, I use hand-sculpted fondant. This allows me to create intricate details like the tiny ears on a fox or the crown on a tiger.

Customization and Flavors

These cakes are small, but they are fully customizable. If you have a specific pet you want me to recreate, feel free to share a clear photo. I will do my best to capture their markings and personality in sugar. The cakes are generous enough for one person or to be shared by two. I recommend Chocolate or Mocha flavors, which hold up well with the buttercream finish. Please remember to let the cake sit at room temperature for a while before eating, as the cream and flavors taste much better that way.
