I weave your wedding story directly into your henna. Whether it is your initials, a wedding hashtag, or detailed portraits of the couple, I customize every pattern to reflect your unique journey together.

This bridal mehndi tells the couple's story with portraits and initials. Seeing the bride's happy reaction to her personalized henna is the best part of my job.

A truly bespoke bridal design, this video shows how we included multiple personal elements. It features a groom on an elephant, a bride in a doli, and even a Bharatanatyam dancing foot to represent the bride's passion.

This wedding design is all about the details, without using any figures. I incorporated the couple's initials, auspicious symbols like the swastika, and traditional wedding elements like the kalash.

A beautiful bridal design featuring portraits of the bride and groom, along with their initials. This is a wonderful way to personalize your wedding henna and make it unique to you.

This full bridal design features lovely portraits of the couple on the palms. The arms are decorated with doli and elephant motifs, telling the story of a wedding procession.

This Karwachauth design was personalized for my client. We included a portrait of a woman celebrating the festival and also wrote "2nd Karwa Chauth" to mark the special occasion.

A fun and personalized Karwachauth design. One hand shows a portrait of the couple, while the other has "Happy Karwa Chauth" written in a decorative frame.

This arm band or "startup" design features a beautiful bride in a doli (palanquin). It's a classic and beloved motif in Indian weddings, symbolizing the bride's journey to her new home.

A themed arm band design featuring a bride performing Bharatanatyam. This is a great example of how we can incorporate your hobbies and passions into your bridal mehndi.

About Your Story in Henna

I do not believe in repeating the same pattern on both hands. Instead, I treat each arm like a canvas to tell a different part of your story, whether that is a groom portrait, your wedding hashtag, or symbols representing your shared hobbies like travel or dance.

How We Design Your Story

When you book a personalized bridal package, we start by talking about what matters to you. I don't just copy standard designs from a book. My approach involves mapping out your hands and feet to incorporate the elements that represent your relationship. If you are into minimalist themes, we can keep the figures subtle and focus on clean lines and negative space. If you want a traditional look, I can sketch detailed scenes like the doli (palanquin) or Varmala (garland exchange) to capture the emotion of the day.

The 'No Mirror Image' Promise

One thing I pride myself on is that I do not do mirror-image designs. This means the pattern on your left hand is unique from your right, and your feet have their own dedicated flow. It allows me to hide your groom’s name in one spot, your wedding date in another, and specific motifs like elephants or lotuses where they fit best, rather than forcing a symmetrical layout that might hide the details.

Quality & Safety

Because your wedding day is a long event, I use only 100% natural henna powder mixed with essential oils like eucalyptus or clove. There are no chemicals involved, so you do not have to worry about skin reactions. I will guide you on how to care for the henna stain in the 48 hours after application to ensure it reaches the deepest, darkest color possible for your big day.

Planning Ahead

For complex personalized work, I recommend we discuss your ideas at least two weeks before the function. This gives us enough time to finalize the layout and ensure all your meaningful symbols are perfectly placed. Whether I am traveling to your venue in Mumbai or Varanasi, I make sure the design process feels relaxed and exciting for you.

Hi guys, I am Shubhangee. After 10 years of applying henna in Mumbai and Varanasi, I have learned that the best designs are the ones that actually mean something to the couple. I love sitting with my brides to figure out exactly what symbols or memories we can include to make your wedding day truly yours.
