About Classic Motifs: Peacocks, Elephants & Lotuses
For these traditional designs, the key is clean, thin lines so the peacock feathers or lotus petals don't look crowded. I use organic henna only, which is why I can promise a deep, dark stain that lasts, whether you’re getting these for a quick festival look or a detailed bridal session.
Peacocks, elephants, and lotuses are the heart of traditional Rajasthani and Gujarati mehendi styles. In my work, I focus on the 'Jali' (checkered pattern) and 'Jharokha' (arch) elements to tie these figures together. These motifs are balanced to cover your palm, wrist, and forearm properly.
Because I use fresh, organic henna, you don't have to worry about chemical reactions. The stain is usually a deep maroon to blackish colour. If you have a specific vision—like a pair of kissing peacocks for an engagement or a central lotus mandala for a festive event—let me know. I draw them by hand to suit the size of your hand and arm.
I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, including Pune and Goa for destination weddings. Whether it is a wedding, Karwa Chauth, or a family gathering, you can book me to come to your home. Since I handle my own booking slots, it is better to call or message in advance to block your date.
