About Outfits for Every Celebration
My festive collections are designed with a simple philosophy: if the child is not comfortable, the outfit is not finished. Every lehenga and kurta set I create features soft cotton or muslin linings, secure closures, and elasticated waistbands that keep delicate skin irritation-free. I also include 1-2 inch internal margins in every blouse and kurta to accommodate growth spurts, ensuring your investment lasts through more than just one celebration.
Whether you are preparing for a vibrant Mehendi afternoon, a formal Sangeet night, or the traditional rituals of Rakhi and Ganesh Chaturthi, I understand the unique requirements of festive dressing for children aged 1 to 9. My design process prioritizes the active nature of kids. I use premium, lightweight fabrics like Chanderi, Organza, and Soft Silk, paired with construction techniques meant for movement.
For girls, my custom lehengas and gowns include a layer of soft, structural net sandwiched between layers of breathable cotton, giving that perfect princess flare without the scratchiness often found in party wear. For boys, I move away from uncomfortable drawstrings, opting for soft elasticated waistbands in churidars and sherwani sets to ensure they can run and play freely.
I specialize in twinning sets—coordinated outfits for brothers and sisters that share colors and motifs without being identical uniforms. Based out of my studio in Marine Drive, Mumbai, I work closely with families across India to craft these custom pieces. Every outfit, from the Zardozi patches on a kurta to the handmade tassels on a lehenga, is hand-finished to ensure safety and durability.
