Festive Client Diaries & Sibling Moments
Seeing my designs come to life during festivals is my favorite part of the job. Here are some of the wonderful families who have celebrated special moments in my handcrafted festive wear.
It was an honor to dress the Deshmukh family's children for Ganesh Chaturthi. This video shows them participating in the puja, looking wonderful in their coordinated Shruti Jalan outfits. Thank you for trusting me with your festive wear.
A throwback to when the wonderful children of Dabboo Ratnani celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi in my festive collection. It's always a pleasure to see my outfits become a part of such cherished family traditions and celebrations.

About As Seen On: Client Diaries
Every outfit you see here is designed with kid-friendly practicalities like elasticated waistbands and soft mulmul lining, ensuring that while the kids look picture-perfect for festivities like Ganesh Chaturthi, they stay comfortable enough to play and enjoy the day.
When I work with families for festivals, the focus is always on blending tradition with childhood reality. You will notice that while the outfits are ornate—featuring Zari embroidery, mirror work, or traditional prints—they are built on breathable foundations like Pure Chanderi and high-thread-count cotton.
Each piece seen here, whether it is a lehenga for a young girl or an Angrakha for a boy, is finished with soft 100% cotton mulmul linings to prevent chafing during long puja sessions or family gatherings. I handle custom requests frequently, where we coordinate colors or prints for siblings to ensure they look like a pair without feeling stiff or restricted. Whether you need a simple printed kurta or a heavy embroidered wedding set, the goal remains the same: the children should look festive while remaining free to move, run, and play. My studio in Shriniketan, Mumbai is always buzzing with these requests, and I love helping families coordinate their looks for the next big celebration.

I'm Shruti, and I love creating outfits that let kids be kids during our biggest celebrations. I combine traditional Indian festive styles with fabrics that are soft enough for all-day wear, so every sibling set is as comfortable as it is cute. I truly believe that dressing up for festivals should be a joyful experience for the whole family.
