About this collection
I don't do digital prints here. Every card is painted on premium 300 GSM watercolor paper, meaning the texture and the colors you see are exactly what you get. These are one-of-a-kind pieces, so while they might have tiny, honest quirks that a factory-made card won't have, they carry a warmth that you just can't manufacture.
When you choose a handmade card, you're choosing something that’s meant to be kept, not tossed in the trash the day after the party. I love taking a simple idea—like a cat sitting in a teacup or a classic Bengaluru auto-rickshaw carrying Santa Claus—and turning it into a little story on paper.
How I Work
I use high-quality gouache and watercolor paints, often layering them with micron pens for those delicate line details. My process is pretty straightforward:
- The Sketch: We decide the theme, whether it’s a specific hobby, a pet, or a festival.
- The Paint: I layer the colors, letting the medium do its thing.
- The Finishing: Each card comes with a coordinating envelope, so it’s ready to gift the moment you receive it.
Why Handmade Cards?
Beyond the standard birthday and anniversary designs, I love working on 'just because' cards. Maybe you want a card featuring a 'heart garden' for an anniversary or a custom illustration for a Mother's Day surprise. Since I am based in Bengaluru, we can coordinate on the design details easily. Because I create these from scratch, I have full control over the color palette and the specific sentiment you want to convey. If you have an idea in your head, even if it feels a bit silly, let’s talk about it. Art is supposed to be fun, and I’m here to help you share that joy with the people you care about.
