About Monsoon Magic: Meghalaya & The Northeast
My expeditions are not standard sightseeing tours. We chase the weather, not a bus schedule. Whether we are waiting for the mist to clear at Nohkalikai Falls or finding the right angle for a drone shot at Phe Phe, the focus is entirely on getting the frame right. If you have a smartphone, I will show you how to pull professional-grade shots from it; if you have a DSLR, we will refine your composition and long-exposure techniques to make those waterfalls look crisp.
Beyond the Tourist Trail
Northeast India is a playground for photographers, but only if you know where to look and when. My trips to Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh are designed for people who want to move past the 'standard' tourist spots.
What we cover on the ground:
- Monsoon Mastery: Shooting in rain requires specific gear protection and lens hacks. I teach you how to keep shooting when others are packing their bags.
- Mobile & Pro Techniques: From using Pro Mode on your iPhone or Samsung to setting up ND filters for that silky waterfall look, you will learn the actual settings I use for my social media content.
- Drone Perspectives: If you are bringing a drone, we will practice cinematic flight patterns to capture the scale of the Seven Sisters Falls.
The Squad Vibe We stay in local homestays and hotels, and the goal is always to build a community. You will leave with better photos, a deeper understanding of your camera, and a squad of fellow creators.
