Master Mobile Photography: Workshop & Creative Tips
The best camera is the one you already have in your pocket. I teach you how to unlock its full potential—no expensive gear required.
A beautiful portrait shot in the forests of Bhopal, captured using the portrait mode on my Vivo V60. It proves that stories matter more than equipment.
A dramatic landscape shot of a waterfall in Madhya Pradesh, taken with my Vivo V60. Mobile photography gives you the freedom to frame everything.
A self-portrait celebrating World Photography Day with my phone. I started my journey with a phone, and it's still my primary tool for storytelling.
A first-person perspective shot from the edge of a cliff overlooking a waterfall, captured on my phone. It's all about finding the right angle.
Exploring the heritage of my city, Bhopal, with the Vivo X200 FE. This reel shows how I capture the soul of a place, from its architecture to its people.
What I see versus what I shoot. Using the telephoto lens on my phone to isolate details, like this mosque dome amidst the chaotic streets of Bhopal.
The final zoomed-in shot of the mosque dome in Bhopal. The detail and clarity you can get with a modern smartphone camera are incredible.
A candid street photography moment in Bhopal, captured on my phone. The ZEISS Multifocal Portrait mode helps capture these fleeting memories.
Another 'what I see' moment from the streets of Bhopal. Framing a mother and child within an archway to create a powerful, intimate portrait.
A timeline breakdown of a recent car film I created. This behind-the-scenes look shows the editing process using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
About Master Your Mobile: Photography Workshops & Tips
I do not just teach you how to frame a shot. In these sessions, we dive into your phone's specific Pro Mode settings, test whether your sensor handles low light or long exposure better, and build a consistent color-grading workflow using Lightroom Mobile. It is about understanding the hardware you carry every day so you can stop relying on Auto mode and start taking total control of your final image.
Why I focus on mobile
My dadi taught me that you don't need fancy things to be happy or create something beautiful. I started my own journey with a basic phone, and I have shot brand films and travel content on everything from mid-range Vivos to flagship iPhones. The camera doesn't take the photo—you do.
What you will learn in our session
We spend about 80% of our time walking and shooting, and 20% on the theory and critique. We will cover:
- Camera Mastery: Moving beyond Auto mode. We look at ISO, shutter speed, and white balance on your specific device.
- Composition & Framing: How to find hidden angles in urban hubs, whether we are shooting in Old Delhi or the quiet streets of Bhopal.
- Cinematic Reels: Techniques for stable, engaging video clips that actually look like a movie, not a shaky home video.
- Post-Processing: A realistic workflow for mobile editing using tools like Snapseed and VN Editor.
Who this is for
If you have a smartphone and a desire to tell better stories, you belong here. You do not need to be a tech expert or own a DSLR. We might start the day as strangers, but by the end of our photo walk, we are usually an apna squad of creators sharing tips, tricks, and maybe even a chai break. This is about capturing the vibe, the emotion, and the light—whether you are shooting a portrait, a waterfall, or just the chaotic beauty of your local market.
