Why I Do What I Do
I’m not into fast fashion or shortcuts. At Mistry, every shoe is made slow, just like how a kaarigar (artisan) in India does it - with patience, skill, and a bit of stubbornness. Real leather, nothing fake - it’s what makes our shoes age with you, not fall apart.
The Heart in Every Pair
- All stitching is done by hand in our New Delhi workshop.
- Each pair uses top-grain leather and soft suede, no skimping.
- I obsess over every sketch and detail, keeping the look clean and simple, but not boring.
What I Make
- Minimalist leather flats, including ballet shapes with studs, rivets, or bold buckles.
- Split-toe tabi flats, for those who like something hatke (different).
- Handmade leather loafers and relaxed suede mules for everyday style.
- Luxury leather juttis embroidered for weddings and festive wear - pearls, crystals, and shimmer, all done by hand.
