About Floral Dupattas & Shelas

I weave these nets entirely from fresh Tagar (jasmine) buds, which gives them that beautiful, natural fragrance throughout your event. Because they are delicate, I use soft pearl-secured knots at every intersection to ensure they hold their shape perfectly during your walk or entry.

Choosing a floral dupatta is about more than just the look. It is about how it feels and flows on the big day. My floral shelas (stoles) are a favorite for Haldi and Dohale Jevan ceremonies because they catch the light and the camera effortlessly.

Customizing Your Look

We can play with combinations to suit your vibe. Popular requests include:

  • Classic White: Pure Tagar bud mesh with delicate pearl borders. It is elegant and timeless.
  • Festive Contrast: Jasmine nets finished with a thick, vibrant border of red roses or yellow marigolds to match your saree.
  • Modern Twist: Incorporating Baby’s Breath for a soft, dreamy canopy effect.

Each piece is made fresh, ensuring that signature jasmine scent lasts for your 6-8 hour event. I create these in various dimensions, from a 5ft stole to a 6.5ft full-coverage dupatta. If you have a specific color palette in mind—perhaps to match a Paithani or a heavy silk bridal lehenga—just let me know. I can reinforce the edges with rose petals or marigolds to ensure the dupatta is sturdy enough for an energetic entry but still feels soft against your skin.

Care & Handling

These are living pieces of art. To keep your floral dupatta looking pristine, store it in a cool place before your entry. I use rigid, moisture-controlled packaging for all deliveries across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and Pune, so your piece arrives fresh and ready to wear.
